Are your antiques and fine art correctly insured?
Most of us are under insured. If this is the case for you, then you need an insurance valuation. We can supply detailed valuations, covering complete contents, specified items or single articles.
For most of our clients, we will recommend the detailed description of all ‘high risk’ items such as antique furniture, clocks, silver, jewellery and collections of ceramics, glass etc. We will also take digital images, to help recovery in the event of a theft.
Our team of specialists are experienced valuers working to standards recommended by The Council for the Prevention of Art Theft (COPAT) and adhering to RICS ‘Red Book’ valuation standards.
Charges are time-based. These will allow for research after initial inspection at your home or our Watlington saleroom.
Have you already lost a valuable antique?
Already lost an item or had it stolen? We can help to prepare a post-loss valuation based on your descriptions. This will help you to deal effectively with your loss adjuster or insurance company.
Insurance valuation enquiry form
For an express valuation service for an individual item you can complete our valuation enquiry form with as much detail as possible, attaching a photo if available, and we will respond with our opinion as soon as we possibly can.
If you wish to speak to one of our specialist valuation experts directly you can contact us on01491 612810 or email [email protected].
We have produced a useful guide to Choosing a Valuer for those unfamiliar with antiques, to help you ensure that you have all of the necessary information available to make the right appointment.
