November sale day: COVID-19 arrangements

We will be pleased to welcome you back to our next sale of Fine Art & Antiques which will take place LIVE and ONLINE on Wednesday, 9th November commencing at 10.30am.

The saleroom is now Open by Appointment ONLY for the ‘Click and Drop’ off of items for auction pre-sale and ‘Click and Collect’ of items post-sale. Please call on 01491 612810 or email to make an Appointment.

November’s sale day will be a normal sale, with Government Guidance now allowing people into the saleroom for pre-sale viewing and to view and bid on sale day itself.

We are also able to carry out Valuations for IHTA and Auction Appraisal strictly by appointment and adhering to Covid rules. Please contact us for details.

Bidding will be accepted online via www.the­saleroom.com and www.easyliveAuction.com or by commission left with the bid clerk. Phone bids may be arranged for lots with estimates in excess of £100.00 – please note that we have limited phone lines available.

Since 1802, Jones & Jacob, and our predecessors, have been hosting regular fine art and antique auctions in Oxfordshire, and providing antiques valuations for specialist buyers and sellers around the London area. Over 200 years later, we continue to provide auction facilities, insurance valuations and probate valuations, for antiques traders, collectors, probate lawyers and individuals throughout the UK.

We operate a full sales calendar at our Oxfordshire saleroom, with regular two day fine art and antiques auctions. Auction catalogues are available to view online and are updated regularly with detailed photo galleries, descriptions and guide prices. The saleroom is open weekdays, 9.00am to 4.00pm, to receive items for sale, and for valuations and auctions advice. Prior to sale day, viewings are at advertised times (see individual auction details) and on the morning of the sale itself.
